  • ATLANTIC PUFFIN. Just look at this dapper being! So sleek in their black and white. Puffins are really dressed to impress and there is something about it that puts a smile on my face. The truth is, we all feel pretty good about ourselves when we put a little effort into our appearance. After we get our hair or nails done, or when we wear a new outfit, we feel good about ourselves. There is an extra bounce in our steps. A newfound confidence, even if just for a bit. On bad or dark days, this kind of boost is sometimes helpful. Working on our outside to feel better about ourselves inside. This goes with my lipstick theory: whenever I feel bad or that I don't have my life together, I put on a little lipstick and it feels like my armour, my strength to conquer that which I am battling. Today, put a little more effort into your appearance, even if it's just lipstick or a new pair of fancy socks. You may be surprised at how much better this small effort makes you feel.
  • A reminder that:
- You do not need to own the original deck to work with Birds Oracle Deck 2. They were created as two separate decks.
- Only 1000 of Birds Oracle Deck 2 were printed and less than 88 are now available. Once they are sold, they are gone.
- You do not have to have experience working with oracle or tarot cards to benefit from this deck. This deck was created for everyone and anyone who is interested in learning to sit with themselves a little more. To be open to gentle nudges and guidance in this wacky world. To work towards their goals and dreams.
  • GOLDEN-CROWNED KINGLET from Birds Oracle Deck 2. Kinglets are energetic little birds. Always hopping from branch to branch, tree to tree, rarely staying still, nearly impossible to photograph. They seem so curious about everything and are such a joy to watch. This card is all about that curiosity. To stay curious. To be curious again, like you likely were when you were a child. The more we get accustomed to these adult lives, the more we move away from that playfulness that we once had when we were kids. There is value in that curiosity and playfulness that can help us excel in our lives by helping us expand our viewpoints and our abilities. What would life look like if you tried something new? What is something that you have always been curious about? Something or someone that you are interested in but have never taken the time to dive in. What would it feel like to do so?
  • AMERICAN WOODCOCK from Birds Oracle Deck 2. The only constant in life is change. Change is inevitable and it's always occurring sometimes in tiny, unseeable increments and sometimes when the rug feels that it has been pulled out from under us. We need to learn to love and accept where we are today and we need to know that tomorrow things may look a lot different. And you know what? That is okay. The more we learn to work with change - and not view it as something scary - the more we will be able to enjoy and handle all of the ups and downs of life.
  • EASTERN BLUEBIRD. I love Bluebirds so much! Their brilliant blue backside reminds me of that cool dusk sky. Their beautiful orange breast makes me think of the warm sunrise. This card is about a definite end and a definite beginning. Sometimes we have to complete something or let go of something before we are able to progress or move forward or have space in our lives for new things. Sometimes this letting go or completion of something is not an easy feat but oftentimes, we are so much better for it. What steps do you need to take to get to that new day with that glowing rising sun beckoning you to fully step into a new day/life?
